Don't you hate spending big bucks at the grocery store? Stop doing it! There's a website just for you! Angelfoodministries.com

  • Step 1

First of all...Wake up!!! You need to realize spending hundreds of dollars a week on groceries is not the only option! There is help, and with the economy the way it is, who isn't wanting to save every penny they can? If you're willing to skimp on the eating out, then way not atleast treat yourself to a healthy, delicious meal through out the week!

  • Step 2

Now that you are aware you can save money, let's do it! Log onto Angelfoodministries.com and click on the link titled "Find a local host site". From there, type in your zip code and choose distance willing to travel to host site.

  • Step 3

Once you see a location that suites you, write down the number and address for future references. Also, you may want to see if your particular host site offers online ordering which you can do on the "order online" link.

  • Step 4

Now that you have a host site in mind, click on the "this months menu". You can order ANY menus listed in any amounts desired. As shown, the signature menu feeds a family of four for a week for $30. They also offer the senior menus that consist of precooked meals, an allergen free menu with everything cooked WITHOUT the top common allergens. There are also generally three to four "Specials" offered each month with select meats and fruits and vegetables. AngelFood does not have any limitations on how much you can order, you just have to be sure to get the order in on time.

  • Step 5

When you finally look over all the menus and get an idea of what you would like to order, call your local host site and ask when the deadline is to place the order and where you need to place it (generally the deadline in the second week of each month, and distribution is the fourth Saturday.) As a fellow consumer of AngelFood, I have a family of four, consisting of myself, my husband, and two children both under 2 years of age. My husband and I order three menus, and two signature boxes each month. We typically spend $130 dollars at time of order, and when we get the order on distribution day, it is PLENTY to last the whole next month until the next distribution day. Thanks to AngelFood, our grocery bill is down to $130 from well over $400 a month! You too can save big like us!
