Relaxing is an essential part of one's activities in order to manage daily stress properly. Relaxing is very important to your mental health and should be practiced to remain mentally healthy as one engages in exercise to be physically fit. Finding ways to allow yourself to enjoy a moment of relaxation is necessary to keep stress at a minimum.

  1. f there's ever a time when you've become so overwhelmed with stress, take a moment to inhale and exhale deep breaths to release unwanted stress. Choose a desolate quiet place where you can be alone with yourself to practice this activity.

  2. Follow up your deep cleansing breaths by shutting your eyes and visualizing a peaceful place you enjoy visiting. Continue your breathing while you enjoy your visualization.

  3. If you are at work and you can't seem to calm your stress, walk away from your duties for a bit and take time to gather your thoughts. You might want to release some of that stress by walking up and down some stairs.

  4. If you are unable to leave your desk, stretch your arms and legs.Take some time so stand on your feet and stretch from side to side. Roll your neck around a coupleof times. You should also give yourself a neck massage. You can ,also, spin yourself around in your chair to unwind a bit.

  5. You can ,also, rest your head on your desk for a couple of minutes. Do not fall asleep at your desk, but take some moments to rest your eyes and brain.
