Becoming the Holy Fool. A Grail Wisdom Lesson.

Here we finally “See” what the object of Life is; we become a Messiah, a son or daughter of the Most Holy Ancient One. Once we understand what we have learned, we have arrived.

A’ain was a mystery when the numbers of Gematria (the method used to code and decode the Tree of Life) were being calculated by this author.   A'ain or Ayin is numbered zero by Crowley of the Golden Dawn and OTO. According to Crowley, Aleph was supposed to be the letter connected with the Fool card, but it didn’t fit the symmetry of the Tree and the letters. For one thing Aleister, added the non-number, zero, to the mix.  The Cistercians in ancient days called zero the work of the devil. Nothing comes from zero because nothing comes from nothing. To have a division, thus a duality, a person must have something to divide!  Zero does not equal two in esoteric terms, as Crowley asserted.

The Great Monad, One, is the sum of Everything as nature would indicate and all else is a division of that Sacred One, so Zero doesn’t apply.  Frankly, at the end Crowley went off his nut and tried to create another level of Magic(k).  To make matters worse, his only son, McAleister, died.  The devastation drove him into seclusion and he died three years later in 1947. With this knowledge in hand we ignore the magicians, who clearly didn’t understand this work, and go back to the foundations laid for us by real Magi, Wise Ones.

The Fool card of the major arcane must have a letter and number value to go with it to fit into the Tree of Life.  The numbers MUST fit.  The authors of the Tree of Life were all about numbers and mathematical precision. Once we establish that as the working hypothesis, the Fool Card takes on the A’ain or Ayin letter as its own and fits logically into the Diagram.  We can't have an extra letter.  Didn’t we just discover that Knowledge could be used for Guidance to drive our dreams, or to drive us raving mad if we wrongly apply it.  With all sympathy for Aleister; he was barking mad when it came to discovering the truths here in a sublime context , not one of earthly power.

Again, we stand by our position that the Fool Card is an extremely important lesson and belongs here where the numbers place it; that is, between Yesod, Foundation and the 28th Path to Victory, the English translation of Netzach.  Write that in while you are thinking about it for those of you making their own diagram to help retain the learning involved.

Back to our letter Ayin: 70 for counting purposes, equated with "O" in the English alphabet, it is still numbered 16 in the Hebrew alphabet, and is pronounced “Oyn,” as only a Yiddish Mama would say. Use the “Oi” sound familiar to non-Yiddish speaking people for reference. Ayin is the eye, with780 or 130 as the extended numbers. The first small number is 79 from Yesod with Ayin added.

Both pillars on the Tree of Life are also 79, Boaz and Jachin,  a prime number, and therefore special.  "The God of Malkuth and Yesod in Briah" is 79, along with "Throne." Obviously something important resides here.  This concept of the God of Earth (Malkuth) and Foundation (Yesod) in the Trinity of Deity (Briah is the second world and in Deity's sacred nature) is an important designation.  A magus who sees the Truth and is unified with it is a Child of Deity most high.

"Conjunction," "meeting," and "union" are attributes here. Here we find Unity is the implication.  Netzach and Ayin's numbers added are 77 for the correspondence of "The influence from Kether," "overflowing," "strength." All the relevant numbers added together  are 9 + 70 + 7 = 86: "a name of God," asserting the identity of Kether and Malkuth (As Above, so below).

Another correspondence is, "Elohim."  “Elohim” is the masculine plural of the feminine singular, "Hallah-Juh" (Praise the Lord).  Also, the correspondence of "cup" (our life) is here. "A rustling of Wings" is a meaning as well.  Are we getting closer to being spiritual beings usually pictured with wings to show their spiritual natures?  The image holds. The angels serve and so do we once we are unified with the Divine Mind. In any case, we are to rejoice at this point in our development if we truly see.

Eighty, the extended number of the Sephira Yesod, plus 780, gives us: 860 "Threshold," "Entrance," "Rauch Elohim," "The spirit of God." If we truly see how blessed and sustained we are we are ready to enter into the spirit of God, literally. We perceive life differently from this viewpoint.

A’ain’s 780 extended number, plus Victory/netzach, numbered148, is 928 or "Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother." (Our true Father and Mother.) The sum of the  three numbers in this position is 1008. "The Breastplate of the High Priest.'"  Use the alternate130 extended number in the 780 place and get 80 + 130 = 210: "Adam Primus," "choice,"  "to dwell," "to conceive," "cycle," "generation." We are to live as humans with Divinity in us. We have become the ideal human as Deity intended.

With Netzach, 148, and 130 = 278: "Passing over," "the Material World." Now that’s progress wehn the message is taken as a whole.  All three extended numbers added with the new correspondences are 358: "The Messiah."  This is the possibility of our existence if we take it to heart.  We each can achieve Messiah status and act in Deity’s interest which is truly our own. Once we “See” with this eye, we see as Deity does.

The thing to know about the Fool is that he is the Holy Fool, pictured in the Waite-Ryder Tarot Deck.  The Holy Fool travels light, unheeding the dangers of the world that the rest of society takes all too seriously.  Society barks at him like the dangerous dog at his heels, but he knows that in life or death he is taken care of by the Most Holy Ancient One at all times.  His purpose isn’t to impress other mortals, but to live in the Kingdom of God as Christ bid us all to prepare for.  His Unity with the Divine Mind is the Kingdom of God and in this Kingdom joy abounds.  The things others think are so important like fame, money and power are false sources of joy.  His gaze is on the Kingdom that others don’t see. He views life through the eyes of the Creator.  His joy is everywhere and his decisions are based upon different criteria than that of the world. The Holy Fool doesn’t sweat the small stuff. He might die walking off that cliff or he might be saved.  He is with the Divine at all times so it is not a dire concern that his life might end doing the deeds of a Son of God.

Further, he is a Magus in the Kingdom of the Divine Mind, the New Jerusalem.  He didn’t have to lose his mortal life to be there either.  The moment he realized fully what his Unity meant, he was transported to a higher plane of reality.  His body was still in this world but his comprehension was above that of the unenlightened.  This is the moment of the Rapture that the Bible speaks of.  In the “twinkling of an eye” we are no longer part of this world as we were moments before but Unified with our Creator.

We are created and sustained every nanosecond by this Deity; we each are loved and guided by this Deity, and cannot be lost even if we show poor judgement. Realize your mistake and resolve to do better, of course.

Humans have the ability to change for the better if we but consider others needs and feelings as important as our own.   Following the Wisdom given to us leads us through the darkness and away from cliff edges to be joyous with the secure knowledge that we are valued for eternity in the Unification we sought and maintain.  Even if we walk off the cliff such as a soldier giving her life to save the platoon, she, as are we, is still part of the Divine forever.

The Kingdom of God is the “salvation” preachers talk about.  The Kingdom is attainable before death, through enlightenment as the Eastern religions call it. The Tree of Life Wisdom is the guide to this ultimate goal of humanity. If you see, truly see with your heart, mind and soul, you become the Holy Fool, a magus and a child of the Most Holy Ancient One.
May Unity be yours, Dear Seeker.

Now it would seem like a logical place to stop here, fold our hands, give sincere thanks for our great Blessing and end the lessons.  Not so fast.  Because we are still mortal and have a whole new perspective on the meaning of Life, Death and the Universe and Everything, we still need a bit more of the guide book here to follow up the rest of our lives.  Until next lesson of Qoth, the Conscious Mind, I wish you Peace profound, Dear Magi. * * *
