Making games installed on your computer portable to use anywhere else or just upload it save space!

Follow these steps very carefully:

1) First, you need to download ThinApp from our Apps section and depending on the size of the App or Game, make sure you have a lot of hd space.

2) From here you need to make sure you have everything you need otherwise you might created annoying clutter. If you want to include mods with your portable games then get them all right now. Run the game at least once and play for about ten minutes before moving on. Just in case, this should add all of the necessary registry files.

3) Run the ThinApp program and follow the instructions. Let it do its initial scan, then install EVERYTHING to your hard drive.

4) After installing everything, press the next button in ThinApp and let it finish its scan. Once the scan finishes you will need to select the executables for the game. You better get this right the first time otherwise you'll need to do this all over again.

5) From then on select Merged Isolution (I think that's the right name) and Fast Compression. After you select those it will gather up all of the files installed to your hard drive.

6) This is the annoying part. Click on the Browse button in ThinApp so it will take you to the portable's folder, then go through each folder and delete all clutter that you don't want packed in. YOU HAVE TO DO THIS! Sensitive information might get leaked if you don't do this step.

7) Depending on the size of the App or Game, this can take anywhere between a minute to several hours, so go do something.

8) After it's done, uninstall the game from your hard drive and then run the portable version. If it comes up with an error then you're pretty much screwed. You've just wasted several hours on something that doesn't work.

9) If the game does work then play it for about an hour to make sure it's operational and then upload it.
