Beware of flood damaged cars when you go to buy a used car. Here you will find some tip to help you find a reliability used car.

Before you buy a used car do your research .Beware of flood damaged car.

A flood damaged car may be hard to sport , but here are 7 tips to help you spot a flood damaged car.

Tip (1)  Look under the carpets to see if  thay are wet danp or moddy.

Tip (2)  Check the set-mounting screws to see if there is any rust.

Tip (3) Inspect the cars lights . Lights are expeensive to replace,and a water

line may still show.

Tip (4) Inspect the car in dofficlt places-to-clean such as the gaps between

the panels in the trunk and under the hood.

Tip (5)  Check the rudder drain plugs under the car and on the bottoms of

the doors if thay look like thay have been removed it mite be because of flood water

Tip (6) get an expert's opinion ask your mechance to check the car's

electronic system, transmission, anti- lock brake system and the air bags

Tip (7) Use your nose -smell for musty odors resulting from mildew

Most flood damaged car ,truck and suvs are sent to the salvage yard.

But some are cleaned up and put back into the auto market wlectricalere thay are

bought by unsuspecting buyers . So if you suspect a car or truck has been

involved in a flood  walk away from it .....quickly even if it appears to be a good deal.

Water will leave lasting damage to the cars electeical and mechanical components.

Look out for these  cars,trucks  and suvs if you don't live in a flooded area.
