Here I will help you consider some aspects of getting a pet, so you will be able to choose your pet wisely.

Choose your pet wisely

Are your kids bugging you to get a dog? A cat perhaps? Or maybe it is a hamster that they want?

Here I will help you consider some aspects of getting a pet, so you will be able to choose your pet wisely.

The first aspect is: what size the pet should be? Is your house big enough to have a big pet, or is it a small house? It's important to consider it, because a big pet in a small house will cause many problems to some people.

Also, if you have small kids and you are planning to get a big pet, make sure it wont frighten them. If it does, you better get a small pet.

Second aspect is: to get an independant pet, or a needy pet? If you're lazy, or expecting your kids to take care of the pet-you should probably get a cat... or a fish. These pets are so easy to take care of, and doesn't need lots of effort when being taken care of.

However, if you are not lazy and willing to spend more then one hour a day or more to take care of your pet, go ahead and choose a dog. It may be a big time consumer, and hard work, but at the end of the day you will feel happiness when the dog will lick your face and show you it's gratitude.

Third aspect: a pet in a cage, or a free pet? Are you willing to let your pet explore the house? Or do you want to close it in a cage, and focus on cleaning only it's cage instead of the whole house? A bunny or a hamster would make a great cage pet, just make sure the cage is big enough and that you have a place for it!

Forth aspect: a quiet pet or a loud pet? If you like your sleeping hours, you really need to think about it. Some of the pets are a big noise makers. If you can get used to their noise- thats great! Then you can choose what ever pet you want! But if you would wake up from the smallest noise in the living room... then you should reconsider with the seller at the pet shop. I would advice you to get a snake, because that is indeed the most quiet pet out there.

Fifth aspect: budget... budget... budget... You can't get a big pet if you don't have enough money for it! A big pet require more food- which is more money. If you don't have the money- DO NOT get a pet that eat away all of your savings.

I hope that I was able to help you a lil bit. Cheers!
