The Best Banana Bread Ever

This banana bread is the best you'll ever taste. You get the great banana taste without it being too sweet. It tastes great if you cut a slice, warm it up or toast it and add some butter. Great with a cup of coffee in the morning or with a glass of milk. Enjoy!

I had followed several recipes for banana bread but never really happy with any of them. Some

recipes did not have enough banana flavor, others not moist enough. I ended up making up my own

by just experimenting with ingredients and taste testing. This recipe does not include nuts of any

kind. My family does not like nuts in their bread and I have given some loaves as gifts and not  know

if  they may have allergies to them. Adding walnuts or pecans would be an option. Just add about

1/3 cup or so depending on your preference. Yum!!!

To make the Best Banana Bread Ever you will need the following ingredients:

(2 C.) two cups all purpose flour,

(1/4 t.) one fourth teaspoon salt,

(1) one teaspoon baking soda,

(1/2 C.) one half cup vegetable oil,

(3/4 C.) three fourth cup brown sugar,

(1 t.) one teaspoon cinnamon,

(1 t.) one teaspoon vanilla,

(2) two eggs well beaten,

(2 1/2 C.) two and one half cups mashed bananas.

Make sure bananas are overripe. It makes a difference.

The directions to make banana bread are as follows: First, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Then

grease a 9x5 inch pan. In a large bowl combine the flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. In a

smaller bowl blend and cream together oil and brown sugar. Add beaten eggs and mashed bananas to

the mixture. Then add vanilla to the banana mixture. Add the banana mixture to the flour mixture until

well moistened. Pour batter into pan and bake for (60) sixty minutes. Test doneness with toothpick.

It will come out clean when bread is done.

If banana loaf is refrigerated it will last longer. Personally I cut a slice and toast. The outside will be

crunchy and the inside will be moist and warm. Hope you enjoy this classic as much as my family and I

do.
