How to avoid car accidents

Driving while drunk:

Felling sleepy:

Do not drive if you are tired and are feeling sleepy. It is advisable that you park your car for a while and take rest for a short time.

People try to dodge the object they see on the road and do not want to hit. While dodging they lose control and results in an accidents. The object may be weed, road cones, etc. It is better to hit that object because it won’t cause much damage as an accident would.

Stopping on red signal:

It is strictly advisable to stop on red light even if you are in hurry.

Turning left on yellow light:

Avoid turning left if the signal has turned yellow.  Most of the people who want to go straight turn left when they see that the signal has turned yellow. This may prove fatal because the cars that are already waiting for turning left may not see you and you may get hit by any one of them. Also start slowing down your car if you see yellow light.

Maintaining less distance:

Some people do not maintain proper distance and follow the other car too closely. This blinds the driver of the car that is following too closely and may hit the car ahead if it applies brakes due to some reason. It is essential to maintain some distance because the braking system takes some time in making the car stop. Many accidents can be avoided just by maintaining a distance.

Parking lane:

The side of the road is designated for parking your car. Avoid driving in the lane right of white lane because they are for parking purpose and your little negligence can result in an accident.

Not adjusting your speed according to the conditions of the road:

Adjust your driving speed according to the circumstances. Follow the speed limits that are mentioned on the side of the roads. Driving too fast at a place where you need to slow down may result in accident. Maintain your speed that is less than the maximum limit or that you can handle easily.

Losing concentration while driving:

When driving, do not pay attention to any other thing drive carefully. Most people do not concentrate while driving and when some thing happens they are unable to react properly. This leads to an accident. Avoid using cell phones, eating, etc when you are at the driving seat.

Carefully change the lanes:

First make sure that the lanes are clear and then change your lane. Look for the approaching cars and make your decision accordingly.

Strictly follow traffic rules:

Traffic rules are for your safety. Follow them to ensure your safety. Avoid turning from the place where it is not allowed.
