Are you one of those writers frustrated with your page views in Bukisa?  You dream of making hundreds of dollars every month with your articles in Bukisa, but you are still far away from the making the first ten dollars in Bukisa, because nobody reads your articles.

Many new writers are happy with the payment scheme in Bukisa.  Bukisa pays more for page views than other writing sites, and has very good referral rates.

However, reality sets in when they see that not many people view their articles.  It seems very hard to reach minimum payout when each article attracts only ten to twenty page views.

How to generate traffic to your articles in Bukisa?

The first way to generate traffic to your articles in Bukisa is to ping the new article.  For every new article that you published, do send a ping.  The purpose of sending a ping is to let the various search engines know that you have a new content, and that they should send robot to crawl the articles.

You can use pingoat, pingmyblog and pingomatic to ping the article.  You can put in the title of the article as your blog title, and the url of your article as the blog’s url.

The second way to generate traffic to your articles in Bukisa is to send rss feed to various blog directories.  You can find your rss feed in your account page.  Just click on the rss feed button, and you can access the rss feed page.  Just copy the whole url and paste them to feedbees.com.  Feedbees.com is the rss feeds directory, and is a free service.  Beside Feedbees, you can send rss feed to rssmountain, another rss feeds directory.

The importance of submitting to rss feed directory is that your rss feed is likely to pick up by major websites, and that will generate more traffic for you.  You do not need to keep on submitting your rss feed, since the rss feed will update the moment you publish a new article.

The third way to generate traffic to your articles is to make use of free search engine submission service.  You can try out http://www.official.my to submit the url of your profile page in Bukisa.  Even though you have heard of Google, Yahoo, and MSN, the three big search engines in the cyber world, there are in fact a few hundred smaller search engines and web directories that can generate traffic to your articles in Bukisa.

The fourth way to generate traffic to your articles is to promote your articles internally.  Based on the computation of page views used by Bukisa, which is actually based on the number of loading of advertisements, you will gain one page view when people read your articles, and another page view when the reader leaves a comment, and wait for the advertisement to reload.

For new writer, you have to advertise your presence.  The best way is to leave as many comments as you can, and do not close the window until the advertisements reload completely.

Your fellow writers in Bukisa will likely leave comments on your articles, and generate traffic to your articles.  Even if you do not have much to say, you can at least leave a simple and sincere comment, such as “Great writings on xxx”.

The fifth way to generate traffic to your articles will be using the usual social networking sites, provided you already have the accounts.  If you do not have, you do not need to waste time setting up the account.  You can ask your friends who have Twitter, Facebook or whatever to promote the content for you.

The sixth way to generate traffic to your articles is to make use of seo techniques in your articles.  You do want natural traffic from search engine, so you have to learn to write for search engine.  This is in fact the most effortless method to generate traffic to your articles in Bukisa.

The last way to generate traffic to your articles in Bukisa is to make use of splash page or your blog (without Google Adsense), and then use traffic exchange to channel traffic.  Since the readers will deem as come from your blog or the splash page, it is not against the TOS of Bukisa.  However, this is really the last resort, and I do not recommend making use of this method to generate traffic to your articles in Bukisa.

It is not hard to make money from writing articles and submitting to Bukisa, provided that you put in enough effort to generate traffic to your articles in Bukisa.

Basically, to ping means to tell. The purpose is to let the search engine index faster.

Great article on traffic generation. Methods like pinging. rss feeds, search engine submission and others can also be used to drive traffic to websites. Thanks for the tips. Very helpful. And traffic exchanges have its place in driving visitors to your website. But traffic exchanges visitors are usually only there to get credit for leaving a site open on their browser for a certain amount of time. They are not really interested in your site at all.
