We all tumble across useful or interesting web sites from time to time, we all know the well known sites but here are a few I have found on my travels you may not know.

The net is full of useful web sites; although we mostly come across them by accident or a search, let me show you a few that you may not have come across.

http://www.Only2Clicks.com

The site allows you to create a home page with all your favorite sites on it, it allows you to access your bookmarks whatever computer you are using and they survive after your local machine crashes.

http://www.anonymouse.org

Lets you surf without giving you IP and location to anyone.

http://www.zoho.com

It’s like an online Microsoft Word, free to use and has loads of different programs, really good site.

http://www.yousendit.com

Isn’t it frustrating when you get bounced mails due to the attachment being too big, this site allows you to send very big files on the email system. Free to use the basic package.

http://www.radio-locator.com

Whatever music you like, find an actual or internet radio station to listen into whilst writing your hubs.

http://www.wonderhowto.com

A good alternative to How To, many different subjects from Kissing to repairing clothes.

http://www.instructables.com

Great load of projects for children young and old, things such as make furniture with cardboard to make a microbial fuel cell.

http://www.lulu.com

Publish an eBook and put it on sale all in one, like writing a hub, but longer. No cost only profit.

http://www.kiva.com

This is really great, lend money, from $25 to someone who wants to start a business in the developing world and get reports on how they are doing and your money back. A really worthwhile charitable cause which costs you nothing, and provides feedback on where your money goes.

http://www.designmyroom.com

Redesign your room in cyberspace, see how it looks before you buy any materials, could be very useful and save embarrassment.

http://www.skyscanner.net

Very useful, monitors all the low cost airlines for price and timetable, rather than have to look at several sites try here first for the low cost carriers.

I know there are many more sites, but these are a few I have found useful or interesting.
