Why Many Working People Need to Read the Newspaper
Get ahead in your career! See why you must read the newspaper!
Do you work in or plan to be employed in an important industry where other people depend on the decisions you make because it has an impact on their lives or the service they receive? Are you being held back in your career because you do not obtain enough information from television or the Internet to be fully informed and acquire all the important information you need to really prosper? You will learn reasons why reading your local newspaper can be very important to helping you thrive.
Are you an aspiring politician or somebody who has the desire to become your local politician's campaign manager? If this is the case, there are various reasons why you must read the newspaper every day. One reason is you must be aware of the things and events occurring in your area in order to be able to respond and make changes or recommend changes or legislation which will help your constituents or make your community a better place to live, visit or be employed in. Another reason is you need to be aware of your approval ratings and the opinions the voters in your district or region maintain regarding how you can improve or how things affecting your community can be improved so you can get on the ball and take care of every situation.
Do you possess aspirations of becoming a comedian or comedian's joke writer? Do you imagine holding your own television comedy show like Jay Leno, David Letterman, Conan O'Brien or Jimmy Fallon? To work as a television comedian or joke writer, you must read the newspaper on a daily basis because the audience wants and feeds on jokes or comedy material that revolves around their daily lives or makes fun of something that recently happened involving someone else - they do not want to hear a joke on why the chicken crossed the street.
Do you wish to work in the advertising or public relations fields? If so, you must read the newspaper so you will know what decisions you must make to fully assist your clients.
Do you want to own a professional sports team? If so, you must read your newspaper to be aware of the economic climate and the immediate spending plans of your team's fan base to make an intelligent decision on how much to raise your ticket and concession stand prices and how much money your general manager should spend on free agents, or available athletes, for the next season.
Do you want to have your own business or become self employed? If so, it would help to read your newspaper to learn the present consumer trends and what consumers plan to do or buy in the near future.
Do you want to be a salesperson? If so, you must read the newspaper to learn new developments concerning your line of products and learn about the changing preferences and needs of your prospects.
Have you thought about selling stocks or becoming an online trader? If so, read the newspaper to find out what is going on with your stocks and other stocks.
Do you want to be a law enforcement officer? Law enforcement officers must read the newspaper to learn every new law that passes and how it must be enforced.
Keep this information in mind to remember why reading the newspaper can be important to your career!
