Eggnog made easy

This is a very easy to follow Christmas recipe that the whole family can enjoy!

The first step is to beat the two eggs very well in a good sized bowl. Gradually stir in the rest of the ingredients until very well blended. Add the milk to the beaten eggs first. You want to mix the wet ingredients together first then add the dry. So after you add the milk to blender with the eggs, next add the vanilla. Blend these ingredients until they are well mixed together. You want to mix these ingredients up good first before you add them to the blender. This allows you to make sure that everything is being spread out evenly.

Step2 profile.myspace.com After you have the ingredients all blended well together, place the pitcher in the refrigerator to cool. You can also add a little pep to your eggnog with alcohol. Rum is a popular choice along with Brandy. You can add as much as you want as long as it is not to over powering. No one needs to be getting hammered off of the holiday eggnog! Usually 3/4 cup to 1 whole cup is plenty, you can add more or less as you see fit.
Step3 remedicated.com Now that you have the eggnog cooled and ready to serve, distribute evenly among cups and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the eggnog. This adds a little appearance and the cinnamon accents the eggnog. You can also add a pinch of brown sugar if you would like.This adds a little sweetened taste to the eggnog. Some people actually like to add ground black pepper to their eggnog! You can experiment with this recipe until it suits your liking.
