I got the recipe on a calender years ago and have made this ever since. It is great when you have company as it looks like it came out of a resturant. The chops get so tender. You can allways change it up and put other toppings on it that are your favorites.

PORK CHOPS CARDINALE

6 pork chops   (Can use with bone or without)

½ oil  (I use cannola but you can use olive oil or oil of your choice)

½ cup Flour (I used white but you can try it with wheat)

½ cup butter    (You can try marjarine but I never did)

2 cloves of garlic chopped (Use extra if your a garlic nut)

2 ½ cups white wine (I use white zinfidel or you can use any open white wine in the house)

1 Tbs Lemon juice    (Fresh lemon juice would even be better)

1 teas oregano (I use dried but fresh would be even better)

1 teas salt

1 teas black pepper    (fresh ground would be better)

Sliced sweet red pepper from Jar or fresh blanched

8 Oz. mozorella sliced   (Make thick slice so doesn;t melt all the way)

Put oil in frying pan. Dip chops in flour and brown on both sides.

Set chops in baking dish top with red pepper and then mozorella

Pour oil off frying pan leaving a couple of tbs. spoons in bottom

Add all other ingredience and simmer 10 to 15 minutes

Pour over pork chops and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 mi

My friend, this is a wonderful sounding recipe that I will try. You made it sound easy by your great presentation. I awarded you 5* by clicking on the star furthest to the right. If I clicked on any other you'd get fewer stars.
