Simon Cowell Says Susan Boyle's New Album Will Surprise

While most would expect Susan Boyle to release an album of revamped showtunes, the producer of the new album suggests that people are going to be surprised at what they hear.

Simon Cowell, the producer in question, says that they went through approximately 400 different songs to choose from. He says that Susan was blown away by some of the song choices and that in turn, she will blow away the public when the record is released.

Susan Boyle came in second on the show Britain's Got Talent to the all male dance group Diversity. She then spent a bit of time in a hospital after suffering from what was deemed exhaustion following the show's finale. Insiders for the show say that she is recovering very well and putting all her focus on her new album which is set to be released in the fall.

Both Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan, another judge on Britain's Got Talent, agree that Boyle needs to take some time to get away from things - the media, the show, the public. They say she just needs some time to herself.

Susan Boyle who lives with her cat, Pebbles, is taking things slow in the studio and taking her time adjusting to her new fame. Going from living alone with just a cat for company for years and years to being one of the most well known people on the planet was quite the adjustment. But Susan is enjoying her success and says that being plucked from obscurity was the best thing to ever happen to her and she doesn't want it to end.
