A sure Way to Improve Gas Mileage and Start Saving Money

With rising gas prices it is important that we look for ways to conserve gas.  I found an inexpensive way to get the most out of every gallon of gas and actually end up saving gas, which in turn will put a little extra cash in your pocket.

 Depending on the type of vehicle that you drive will ultimately determine how much money you have to spend to fill up the tank.  Smaller compact type cars burn less gas while larger vehicles and trucks will burn a great deal more gas.    On a weekly basis, I spend about $35 to fill up the gas tank of one of my vehicles.  Of course, it is important to keep up with your car maintenance to avoid any problems that may cause the vehicle to burn more gas. 

 In between car maintenance I started using a gas treatment in which is placed directly into the gas tank.  There are several brands of gas treatment however; most cost no more than $6.  In addition, it is only required that you use one bottle of treatment every 1,500-3000 miles.  Gas treatments help your automobile to run more smoothly.

 The gas treatment actually began to save me some money. Apparently, gas treatments allow better mileage and it causes the car not to burn as much gas in the long run.  I began documenting how often I fill the tank, the cost, and how much gas I am using etc.  By using one bottle of gas treatment once a month I started saving between $9-$13.  It is not a huge amount of money but every little bit helps.
