How to delete your temporary internet files

Is your browser loading slow? Do you need to free up some hard drive space? This is a great way to do it and chances are you either do this often or don't know about it at all.

To delete your temporary internet files, click on your internet explorer icon. It will open internet explorer. If you are using IE6 you will find the option for it in the "tools" menu at the top. If you are using IE7 or IE8 you will find it just beneath the location bar to the right

Next you will see a box open up with different settings.

Locate the Browser History and click on "settings" you can see it in the above image.

Choose your settings that best fit your needs, then click OK. You can also view the files stored in your temporary internet files as well as move the folder. After you click OK you will be taken back to the main history box.

Beside the word "settings" you will find a delete button. Click on the delete button. And there you have many different choices as to what you want to delete.

Here's a handy tip. If you are having problems with IE then just go to "Delete All". It will erase all data stored by internet explorer, you can also include to delete what your add-ons have stored. You can also choose to delete one thing at a time so that you do not lose your passwords and login data. Just hit the delete button and it's all erased easily. This is especially handy if you think you might have a virus stored in your temporary internet files, or your add-ons have become
