Xbox live! or Free? - Play Xbox or Xbox 360 games online for free!
Online gaming is the ultimate test of your video game skill. Unfortunaltely it isn't free when you use an Xbox or Xbox 360, or is it.. Here's a program that lets you connect to other players online and game for free!
You'll need a home network and an internet connection. From your PC go to http://www.xbconnect.com and download their client software. Their software works by making your video game console believe it is gaming locally on your home network.
Once you have the client installed fire up your favorite Xbox or Xbox 360 multi player capable game. It doesn't matter if it's a shooter, role playing game, driving game or whatever. Soon you'll be playing online for free!
XBConnect currently supports dozens of current, popular multi player games such as; Call of Duty, Farcry, Splinter Cell, Quake 4, Brothers in Arms, Halo, Halo , Outrun, Rainbow 6, Tony Hawk and dozens of other online multi player games.
Once the game is started go to the multi player, 'looking for game' screen, then head over to your PC and fire up the XBConnect software. In a few moments it will detect the game console.
Once the console is detected go ahead and choose a game server that is hosting the game you want to play. Remember to try and choose a server with a low ping time. Ping is the amount of time it takes a packet of information to go from your PC to the target server and back again, so low ping times mean less lag!
Connect to that server and, in a few moments, the game will begin on your Xbox or Xbox 360!
That's it, pretty simple.
Now go out there and show them who's boss and enjoy playing your favorite Xbox or Xbox 360 online games for free! Oh yeah, almost forgot... This is perfectly legal
