Ron Artest Joins Lakers
Ron Artest signed with the Lakers Yesterday and L.A. can already smell a back to back . Not if Lebron & Company have something to say about it.
Ron Artest signed with the Lakers Yesterday and L.A. can already smell a back to back Championships :cough: Finals. Not if Lebron & Company have something to say about it. But I must say The Lakers match up much better against the dominant teams that want a shot at the throne. Swapping out Trevor Ariza for Ron Artest was a good move on the Lakers part(Cavs were eyeing both palyers). Ron Artest finds himself in a position to finally get a Chip while Trevor was sent to a team that needs rebuilding. Some wonder if Ron Artest & Kobe will get along. I think if Phil stays they will and if there is a coaching change things might fall apart. These are two different personalities that have bumped heads plenty of times before. Ron Artest seems to have it together (For Now) but let's not forget he grew up in Jamaica,Queens. He wont take LIP from no one not even Kobe Bryant. Ron will be rockin' #37 this year chosen by fan on myspace in honor of Michael Jackson. 37 is the number of weeks Thriller stayed at #1.
