In this short article I will explain how to overcome panic with positive therapy.

Have you ever felt the symptoms of a panic attack, a tight knot in your stomach and the rapidly increased heart beat? Have you ever stayed inside instead of going out to avoid fear or discomfort? If your answer to the questions above is yes, you are not by any means alone. There are nothing wrong with you, panic is a condition your brain puts you in, although there are always some small things you can do to help yourself past the panic and help yourself. The absolute first thing you should try is to visit a therapist. Medications can also be quite helpful sometimes.

What therapy really does is that it changes the brain’s level of helpful neurotransmitters. The helpful neurotransmitters are the chemicals your nerves use to communicate with the other nerves. The nerves do not touch each other and send their messages to each other using the neurotransmitters. When you work with a rational emotive behavior therapist, you learn how to replace unproductive self-talk and beliefs with more productive and goal-promoting self-talk and beliefs. In this way, you learn to manage the panic so that it will not manage you.

Hypnosis is the gate into your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is your servant mind. You program it much like programming a computer. You input data and change what happens in your mind. Hypnosis can oftentimes reinforce rational emotive behavior therapy in helping you to succeed in your goal to decrease and eventually to eliminate panic attacks. Hypnosis also helps you to create positive images in your mind that helps you to see yourself overcoming and being in better control of yourself. You also see yourself as a person who succeeds and is able to face life’s challenges. The rational coping statements can also be embedded into your subconscious mind where they are easily available when you need them.

From the above discussion, you can see how hypnosis complements rational emotive therapy to help you to overcome panic. Stick with your treatment and do your rational emotive behavior homework which will help you to build skills that will make your life more comfortable and pleasant.
