How to Make Snowman Soup and Magic Reindeer Food

Looking for an activity or two to do with your little ones? Make some Snowman Soup or Magic Reindeer Food with your children this Christmas season.

It's the holiday season, and your little ones are singing tunes like Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. You can delight your children with these activities this year.

Snowman Soup makes a warm treat for your little one after playing out in the snow. It's also a cute gift for a friend or teacher. Just follow the instructions below to make it!

You will need: Holiday themed mug, Packet of hot chocolate, Candy cane, 2 Hershey kisses, 10 mini marshmallows, Cellophane wrap, ribbon, and poem (If a gift).

Put the hot chocolate packet, candy cane, Hershey kisses, and marshmallows into the mug. Wrap it with cellophane and tie with ribbon. Attach the Snowman Soup poem below with ribbon.

Was told you've been real good this year, Always glad to hear it! With freezing weather drawing near You'll need to warm the spirit. So here's a little Snowman Soup Complete with stirring stick. Just add hot water, sip it slow It's sure to do the trick!

Magic Reindeer Food is fun for kids to make. On Christmas Eve, the kids can sprinkle it on the lawn or deck to help the reindeer find their way.

You will need: 1/4 cup oats 1/4 cup colored sugar crystals Glitter Ziploc bag Pour the oats and sugar into a bowl. Stir them together, then add glitter to make it sparkle! (Remember if it is going on the lawn, you may not want to add too much glitter!)

Ha - my kids will love doing this.  Will go well with the carrots for reindeer and cookies and milk for Santa.
