Pacquiao to Make a Movie with Batista and Nicole Sczheringer

Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao is making a movie with fellow celebrities Batista and Nicole Sczheringer. The movie entitled 'Wapakman' is scheduled for release in December as an entry to the Metro Manila Film festival.

Popular Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is making a movie with Dave Bautista, Jr. or Batista as he is known in wrestling and Nicole Sczheringer of the famous Pussycat Dolls.

The movie entitled ‘Wapakman’ is a science fiction film starring the world’s most popular boxer Manny Pacquiao in the lead role.

The movie is scheduled to be shown in the Philippines in December as an official entry to the annual Metro Manila Film Festival.

Aside from boxing and acting, Manny Pacquiao is also a recording artist. In addition to his current celebrity status, the pound-for-pound king has admitted that he has plans to run for a congressional seat in the 2010 national elections.

Pacquiao is scheduled to fight Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico on November 14 although their fight contract is yet to be finalized and signed by the parties.

Manila standard today reports:

Pacquiao’s co-stars will be two popular sports and entertainment personalities, who are part Filipino, namely wrestling star Batista and Nicole Sczheringer, lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls. Batista accompanied Pacquiao into the ring for his May 2 showdown against Britain’s Ricky Hatton, over whom the Pacman scored a brutal second-round knockout last May 2

Batista is an American professional wrestler and a 5-time world heavyweight wrestling champion. Batista whose real name is David Michael Bautista, Jr. is half Filipino. His father is a Filipino while his mother is Greek. He was born on January 18, 1969 in Arlington, Virginia.

Also in the in the supporting role in the ‘Wapakman’ movie is Nicole Sczheringer, another half Filipina whose mother is from the Philippines.

Nicole Sczheringer is a member of a popular musical-dance group ‘Pussycat Dolls’ who recently performed in the Philippines. Nicole offered to sing the Philippine national anthem in the forthcoming Pacquiao-Cotto match at the MGM Grand garden arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
