It is now possible to tether your iPhone without really hacking into the software. Tethering will allow you to use your iPhone's internet connection on your computer! This is really helpful if you're on a laptop and there's no internet around. This method is simple - no unlocking and no jailbreaking.

Step 1. Go to http://help.benm.at to launch the webapp for MobileConfig. We're going to use a file on this site to turn on tethering.

Step 2. Scroll down to MobileConfigs and tap "Download". This little script will open up tethering. Pick your country to go to the next screen, and then choose your carrier.

Step 3. The details screen for the app will come up. Tap the install button. The install profile notice will pop up. Tap "Install Now".

Step 4. Go into your iPhone's preferences app. Tap "General" and then "Network". Scroll down and tap "Internet Tethering". Flip the toggle to turn it on. If your bluetooth is off, you will be given the option to turn it back on. If you can use USB, it'll save your battery life.

Step 5. When you connect your iPhone to your computer, the Network Interface notice will come up. Click "Apply" and turn off your wireless. Your iPhone will light up and start tethering!
