Wedding Cards

What do you think of when you hear the term “wedding cards”?  You’re most likely to think of wedding invitations, or perhaps something else like a bridal shower announcement or some other occasion in relation to the wedding ceremony…perhaps an announcement that doubles as an invitation to the reception(?)

Whatever the case: beautiful wedding invitations…beautiful wedding cards…there’s a purpose and reason for each one; for as many occasions from traditional to more contemporary.  Who would have thought, even a few years ago, we’d have “eco-friendly” cards?  But now, no collection would be complete without them!  

With the wonders of digital photography, all sorts of marvelous variations can be created like never before.  In fact, if you were having a very small, private ceremony, you could create your very own, very personalized wedding cards or announcements right on your own computer and then head over to your local print shop and print them off by hand.  But when you’re looking at several dozen or over 100 potential guests, you’ll have a much more satisfying result…especially one deserving of the reverence appropriately allotted to such an occasion.  

When it’s said there is a card to capture every imagination, that’s not just a cliché remark or idle comment; there really aren’t just a few personality types…regardless what the psychologists might tell us…there are many different kinds of people, and every day there are couples comprised of differing combinations from those groups, and so there should be just as many variations on wedding cards, wedding invitations—or even wedding favors—as there people you might see at a busy airport terminal.

The hard part in settling on the one that’s just right for your wedding is deciding on several samples, and then narrowing down to the perfect wedding invitation…er…card!
