orkut: Indian Orkut

Orkut.co.in is the Orkut version directed for the Indian audience. For becoming part of this huge network, which owner is the well known Google, users need to posses, at least, a valid Gmail email. Gmail.com is the site in which any person can obtain one. That service is free, so the user does not have to pay anything, and it makes possible for the Gmail user to have an Orkut profile.

Creating a Profile in Orkut

Once the person has a valid Gmail address, he or she can enter to Orkut.co.in and then provide some personal details. Once the user has finished to specify some personal data just as date of birth and gender, it is the time to enter to the own personal space, best known as profile in any social networking site.

Tools and Options

Basically, the profile provided by Orkut.co.in is so simple. There users can check their friends updates, search people using the search space located at the upper right corner of the screen, take a look at the communities and friends networks in which they are, and manage some tabs.

The main tabs or buttons which Orkut contains are the following:

Profile: the user can check his/her profile and all the options which it contains.
