A Small Update for the Guilds at Seafight

Here are the long-awaited changes for the guilds at Seafight which we announced way back in May and June.

These will be introduced into the game the beginning of next week.

Changes to the game:

• Until now a maximum of 50 members were allowed to be in a guild. We’ve now doubled the number of guild members allowed in a guild, meaning that you now have room for 100 scurvy sea scoundrels in your guild.
• There’s a new guild guideline online with new features.
• For swashbuckling pirates who are still on the lookout for the right guild but haven’t found one yet, we’ve integrated a pull-down menu with guild tags into the game to make the search easier.
• Guilds can now change their guild names and guild tags themselves. To prevent malpractice an amount of 15000 pearls will be retained by the system for "processing fees" from treasury. Specifically only the guild leader will be able to change this, the guildname will be unique per server in future like guild tags.
• Guilds no longer need to pay taxes if their treasury is filled with over 4.2 billion gold doubloons. Taxes will be taken from all guild members until the treasury is nearly filled. Treasury will be filled until the maximum has been reached.
• If a guild is deleted, the tag for this guild will be automatically reactivated for use 28 days after it was deleted. So stay patient pirates and you’ll soon be able to use the guild tag for yourself.
