The best way to get rid of your extra belongings and to get the things you want is to host a Swap Party! Invite your friends and colleagues to this exciting get-together, where you can have fun and swap things at the same time. Everyone will be happy because they can bring their extra things to exchange for stuff that they actually like and will use. Isn't that awesome?
How to Invite People for your Swap Party?
Send an Evite! Send the invitation ahead of time so people will have enough time to prepare their belongings. Try to send your invitation about 2 to 3 weeks in advance.
The best day to host a Swap Party is on a weekend.
At the same time you're doing the Swap Party, why not make it a mini potluck party as well? Each person can bring one dish or finger food and everyone will have fun enjoying the food together. This is a great time to relax and socialize.
You can prepare a background upbeat music as well to match the joyous mood!
Without spending a dime, everyone can have new things and new wardrobes to wear!
Tips:
Prepare garment racks so the clothes can easily be seen. You may want to make a suggestion for your friends to put hangers on their clothes ahead of time, so this will save everyone time in the set-up process.
