How to Start A Successful Writing Career at Bukisa?

Writing articles online and earning from them has become very known to many people across the world. But very few reach farther in making a wonderful career out of writing for sites like Bukisa or Triond. Here are few things to note in your mind to make this career successful right from the beginning.

I have been writing articles for more than two years. But I didn’t write like a prolific or professional writer because I just didn’t understand the best way to become successful at online writing. This has helped me visualize clearly how things are going to work when I write articles regularly. It is not just writing an article but there are a lot of other things that are important too. Writing an article may earn you a dollar through all its time. Promoting it, writing more articles that link to it, putting useful content add even more value to it and earn many dollars for its life time.

Tackle the Obstacles Early

One of the most important things that a writer needs to worry about is what is famously called as the Writer’s Block. I believe there is nothing like a writer’s block but there are two things that stop you from actually writing even you truly wanted to.

Even if you want to write you will not write as much as you think you should to be successful. You know why you should write, how much you should write. But the problem is that deep in your subconscious mind you do not believe that it works. That you need to work hard in writing articles. Your true values and beliefs do not let you do that.

So you need to work on that fundamental aspect. How do you do that? Be proactive. Expand your mind and try to learn about how to change your fundamental beliefs and build strong purpose to write articles. Listen to self-help audio books on motivation, passion and self-discipline.

Be Patient for the Long Term Results

You do not start writing simply because the results are not very clear on the outset. It takes lot of time for the articles to show the effect. And it takes lot of articles to show even a little effecting a short period of time. Hence you will feel the burden of it.

The best way to overcome this is to try experimenting even writing at blogs and learn how the things work. If you own a blog, you can experiment on topics, search engine optimization, social bookmarking etc. and find out how much traffic you can get for an article through all possible means. Then figure out what it means in the long term for each of your article at a writing site like Bukisa. This will surely motivate you because you now know all things that are certain to form strong fundamental beliefs and purpose to writing.

Facing the Writer’s Block

Another problem many writers face is the inability to write due to lack of flow when writing at their desk. This is popularly called as writer’s block. You just end up staring at a blank screen all of the time and give up on writing for a long time.

I never truly faced this problem. This is because I always know what to write and the flow continued till the end of the article. But I felt its effect while trying to write a complete article and the increased time to complete it.

The best way to tackle this problem is to first prepare, find out, decide and learn what to write. If you try to write on anything and everything that comes across your eyes, let me tell you that you will not write much in the long term. Soon you will stop writing and spend more time reading or doing other activities which may even be unimportant to you.

Don’t Write, Express Your Ideas

One fundamental belief you need here is that you can write with passion only on topics that you know. It is not knowing something but knowing a lot. You must have done a lot of research, reading, analysis on that topic and derived your own understanding and conclusions from it. You will want to express your ideas out to the whole world.

That is when you will truly sit for hours and keep writing non-stop. I can assure that it is really worth doing that. You will write more articles on a topic than you ever thought possible if you know deep in that domain.
