Over time your pc will start to slow down and even freeze up. There are software always running in the background and some you do know and some that you don't know. You can also TuneUp your Pc with many software’s.

Click on start and then on run. Type in msconfig in the box field and click on ok.

Here you will want to click on the Startup tab and then it will display all but windows services running in the back ground. Like your Anti-virus software or pop-up blocker, instant messengers and ect. If there are some that is checked and you do not use it then un-check it. If you are not sure what it is then you can either un-check it and restart your pc and if a Icon is missing beside the clock that you use then go back and re-check it. By un-checking the ones that you don't use will increase the start up time to windows and you will be using less processor and ram.

Once you have made all the changes that you wanted to make click on apply and ok to restart your pc. Once you restart your pc and when windows boots up you may or may not will get a warning message. If you do just put a check mark in the box and click on ok and your all done.

you can also download a free trial tuneup software from http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-utilities/ that can tuneup your pc and change the start up. TuneUp Utilities is a great automated software to maintain any windows computer.

*  Great way to increase your start up time to windows and use less processor and ram.

*  You can disable something that you normally use and if so just re-check what you un-checked.
