So far I have tried quite a few sites that offer you a free website. I always thought it was such a chore to create a website and with those previous websites it was. With Weebly it was a cinch! This build your own free website site is extremely user friendly. I got my website up and running in one evening. Signing up was quick and the tutorial was very thorough.

You have the option to upgrade but I am good with the free website they offer for now. I do know some HTML but with this website all you really have to know is how to copy and paste. The editing could not be easier! You just log in and it brings you directly to your site where you can add and edit content as needed. They also offer a free blog that you can add to your site. That is something I love because it allows me to do my weekly American Idol and Big Brother blogs there.

The templates for the website are professional looking and can be customized with your pictures to inject your own personal touch. I do wish they had more templates than they currently do but only because I am picky with my colors. You can create the website from scratch but as I have learned that is very time consuming and not always worth the trouble. You are able to connect your Google Adsense account to your free Weebly site. This was quick and painless too! Since Weebly offers the website for free they take 50% of your Adsense earnings as well but if you decide to upgrade I believe that you get to keep 100% of the ad revenue again. I think it is a fair trade for all that they offer. If you are a beginner Weebly is the way to go. You can even monitor the popularity of your website. There is a graph on your homepage where you can see how many hits your site gets each day.

I just used Weebly to create a website for a friend of mine who is opening a new business. It was simple to do and met his needs perfectly. He is thrilled with how it came out and how easy it is for him to navigate and update as needed. He had purchased a domain name from GoDaddy but if he would have waited and bought it straight from Weebly it would have been much cheaper. That info would have been nice to know ahead of time but it's okay at least we can share that information with others. The price comparison is $39.99 a year at Weebly vs $217.82 at GoDaddy. Weebly comes out to only $3.33 per month and they do offer discounts if you buy more than one year.
Here is the link to the business website I made on Weebly. Usually it is a difficult task to get a free website such as Weebly to cooperate with a site like GoDaddy but Weebly made it painless and simple with an easy to follow step-by-step tutorial. Below is a link to the business website I created on Weebly.

They also let you upload videos. This task was just too easy! I have my videos on youtube and all you have to insert is the URL to your youtube video and it will show up on your website. I really like having my own website now. I mainly use it as a place to keep all my referral links in one spot and to keep in touch with friends and family. A lot of people ask me what I do to be able to work at home and stay financially comfortable. I can now send them to my website so that they can see exactly what is currently working the best for me. My website is still new but I hope to make it bigger and better every day.

I don't really have any negative things to say about Weebly.com. I don't really like to complain about things that are free. The only thing I have not quite figured out is how to change the font and color of the text. They do offer tech support so I'll just contact them to see if they can assist me with this issue. I have used freewebs.com, piczo.com and a few other free website places and weebly.com is my favorite so far. It is the easiest to use and you are able to get your new website up and running in no time. I definitely recommend Weebly to anyone in search of a free website.
