How to Start Making Money on the Net

If you were to search Google today for "make money on the internet" the result would be a staggering 75 million pages returned which have the words in them which make up this phrase. How do you narrow this search down to find the vital information you need to start making money on the internet? I mean the information that will work for you. Not just isolated bits of it which might work, but all of it on the one website.

You could spend hours into days searching for this information. There might be bits here and there, if you are lucky, but how many websites show you step by step what to do? You are often left wondering how to do this or that, with no one to ask, and which leaves you feeling empty for want of knowledge of the missing information.

Let's assume you are new to internet marketing and you don't have any previous knowledge of the subject. Let's assume as well, that you are not getting the answers you need to start succeeding online, and also that you don't have a budget to work with, or your own website.

2. Research a subject to write about. There are many topics to write about, but you need to narrow your choice to find what kind of information searchers are looking for.

3. Do some keyword research, unearthing those profitable keywords which have lots of searches but not much competition. These are like gold.

4. Write some articles and submit them to the article directories. These directories are free. The gain here is that you get the exposure for your website, build your reputation as an expert author, and gain a valuable back link to your website.

This is just an overview of the steps needed to be successful in winning at internet marketing.
