The Javelina (hah-vuh-lee-nuh) target is common in parts of the South Western United States but for the rest of the country they less common. Even if you do not hunt Javelinas the targets make a fun afternoon in your backyard.

Javelinas are so rarely seen in most of the United States that only one college uses it as their mascot. That college is Texas A&M-Kingsville.

The Javelina does look like a pig but is actually a peccary.

The African Warthog is the perfect target for when you want to practice in the backyard while your nosey neighbor peers over the fence. It also can double as a halloween deck decoration.

Unlike the Javelina the African Warthog IS in the pig family. African Warthogs generally range in the 3-5 feet range.
