Neutrogena Visibly Even moisturizer

I’ve always been a fan of Neutrogena and have used their moisturizers since I was 15. Over time I’ve changed to different SPF and types as I got older but have always stayed with the brand because it hasn’t failed me yet. If I hadn’t gone to the Neutrogena website I wouldn’t have known about this product. I was a little hesitant to try it because of the soy complex. I tried a facial cleanser in another brand that had gotten great reviews and it did everything it said, but after a few months my skin started getting oily and my skin felt a little rubbery. Needless to say I stopped using that product. The only reason I tried it was because it claimed to brighten and even out my complexion.

Like I said, I was hesitant but I tried it anyway. I’m glad I did because wow did it work. This version of the Neutrogena moisturizer went on much smoother and lighter than the moisturizer I normally use. It really did brighten and even out my skin tone. I absolutely love it. The essential serves to help reduce blotchiness  and dark spots. Neutrogena Visibly Even also has helioplex and comes in SPF 15 and 30. I got the SPF 30.

If you’re not familiar with Neutrogena’s moisturizer and sunscreens, helioplex is an advanced patented sunscreen complex created by Neutrogena. What it does is penetrates several layers of the surface of your skin to give you advance protection against UVA rays. UVA rays are what causes premature wrinkles and age spots.

Neutrogena Visibly Even moisturizer is non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and very gentle. It’s gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin. I should know, my old moisturizer started stinking when I put it on. With this one, I had no burning sensation across my skin when it’s applied, not even a little. It’s non-greasy and absorbs quickly, leaving my skin soft and smooth.

I’m happy that I found this product because I was starting to worry that I might have to try another brand and spend a lot of money. I got my bottle of Neutrogena Visibly Even moisturizer at Wal-Mart for around $13. It’s definitely something worth buying if you want a moisturizer with UVB and UVA protection while brightening and evening out your skin tone.

Remember, it’s never too early to start a skin care routine. Just make sure you choose the right products for your skin type and needs. You can’t stop aging but you can slow down the signs.
