In this article, I am going to discuss one of the techniques on how to be loved by people around us and to get more new friends.

Making friends and interact with others are very important in our daily life. The person who hardly found friends is the one who always faced problems interacting with others. There are some tips that can be practiced, so people around us will like to hang out with us. Not to be well-known or glamour, but to be loved by everyone. In this article, I discussed one of the techniques – Don’t criticize others.

Imagine if your car is stopped by a policeman because you made a mistake on the road. Then he gave you summon. The first feeling that may arise in you is feeling angry to the policeman. However, for him, he is only doing his job because you have violated the rules. But still, you don’t like him. And that is how you really feel.

Second situation is when you are attending an event and you are sitting or standing next to the person you don’t know. Maybe in a lecture or a seminar or a motivational talk, then he talks to you and he begins to criticize this and that to you about the event. How do you feel about it? Do you agree with him? Do you like this kind of character? Will you feel comfortable or not? My answer would be definitely no. However, he only wants to tell the truth and thinks that it might be helpful to make the event better but it can’t be done that way.

Though some people could accept the two situations above, but for most people, they surely feel annoyed with the presence of the policeman and the unknown person.

To brisk acquaintances and make them feeling comfortable whenever chatting and hanging out with us, we should not criticize bad things about them. Imagine if the policeman stopped your car and gave you advice because you have violated the rules. Are you still angry on it? And imagine if the person sitting next to you is quiet, or praises the event even though you know it has some errors throughout it. Aren’t they made you feel happy? You will find them a nice person and probably you going to make friend with them.

It is right to criticize someone sincerely or correct them if we know their mistake. No human being wants to make a mistake. The only thing is the way how we approach and notify their mistakes.

If you criticize them in a good way, they would be aware about it and they will feel comfortable with you because you notify their mistakes and surely they will like you and you will be loved among others. But if you criticize their mistakes in a wrong way then they surely feel very angry with you.

In conclusion, let us practice ourselves to think positively and to be positive. Look very carefully into the good part of people around us. Always see something from a positive angle of the situation. Be grateful with what we have. Do not look others wickedness, but search for their righteousness. Then we will be liked and loved by everyone.
