A minute after you read this article, perhaps, your instinct as a poet will come up.

You may agree to me that making a poetry is the easiest way to fill your work to a publisher such as Bukisa or Triond.  Poetry or poem is a short form of literature.  It is also an art.

As a writer in triond, do you know that the rules there, are very restricted? I often get these messages from the editors:

1. Revision

Your article is too short for publication. The article you submitted is either too short or is an incomplete file. Please develop your topic more thoroughly and then submit your revision. Expanding upon your subject will make your article more relevant and interesting, and therefore help you gain more recognition.

We would like to publish your submitted content, but it contains too many readability errors. Please double-check your content and resubmit with corrected spelling, punctuation, and/or grammar.

2. Declined

Your item contains too many spelling errors. Please revise your article and correct the spelling errors. For your convenience, Triond provides you with a spell checker inside our Online Editor. Simply click on the ABC button with a check mark, and any spelling mistakes will be underlined. After you have corrected the mistakes, please resubmit.

Your submission contains inappropriate content that we cannot publish. The content you have submitted does not conform to our editorial guidelines. Your content must not contain any derogatory, offensive, unlawful, harmful, threatening, vulgar, profane, abusive, harassing, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, or tortuous material.

It was not only long time to be published 1 day, 2 days, 4 days, or even a week to wait our article was published but making a poem for a non-native speaker English like me was more simple than making a cake in the oven. Only several minutes after submitting content, my poem was published.

My tips for you to be an extraordinary poet are:

1. Open again your knowledge when you are still a teenager!

Surely, our good knowledge which we got from school would be longlasting useful.  More benefit will you get if your hobby is reading many books about literature or a geek.  Yes, if becoming a geek is not a sin, why we must feel shy if everyone call us a bookworm? Hahaha...

2. Join this site!

You may exchange your idea with the other poets and get benefit from your popularity.  On PoetryBlogRanking.com, I get some tips to be a poet and remember again the classifications of a poetry. Such as:

1. Genre

Blank verse, dark, dramatic, epic, erotic, free verse, lyrical, narrative, romantic, satirical, spiritual, verse fable, and spoken word.

2. Form

Ballads, ghazel, haiku, limerick, odes, paragraph, sestina, sonnet, stanza, and villanelle.

3. Diction

Allegory, allusion, ambiguity, irony, metaphor, rhetoric, rythm, simile, symbolism, and visual.

3. Get the inspirations from your daily life!

This way will make your content is stronger and more powerful than if you take from the other people's experience but it's up to you! I often make my own poem from my daily experiences.

4. Read the other poets's works to add your knowledge in the style of making poetry as many as possible!

This way will make you can keep the space from making boring poet which make people getaway from your latest work. Oh, no!  Don't let that ever happens in your journal!

5. Ask to the professional or study in a university!

The best place to be different, unique, and superpoet ever is our school! We can ask to the professors, lecturers, masters of literature directly and exchange our concept, mind, and opinion is easier and fun rather than only search information about how-to make a good poem in internet.

Those are my tips for today, hope you will get benefit from them!
