You can become a mobster who gets energy, money or heals quicker in both games but in this version, you can also become a fourth type of mob ruler who is a combo of all three of the others.

You start with 2000 dollars. Smart one will by the newsstand for 1,500 and get more experience and more money than you on a regular mission. Too bad that you only get one time to complete the mission but I got over 750 bucks and 18 experience which put me within 2 points of level 2 with the bulk of my energy still unused.

Grab the flick knife for $150 and do the back alley mugging. I got the experience needed to jump a level and over 1,000 cash. Now even though I bought the knife and the newsstand and spent 1650 there I have $2,226 dollars, which is more than I began the game with and I have 2 pieces of property.

I am able to complete that mission twice before I am out of energy and must wait for more. I purchase another newsstand.

I waited until I had more energy and did that back alley mugging a few times. I also got a bronze medal for doing that. I bought two more newsstands increasing my income from 200 to 400 dollars an hour.

I had three energy points when I leveled up from one to two so I tossed them all on energy. I want to get my energy up quickly so I can do more missions and get money quicker. When I have money I toss it on property rather then bank it or buy excess equipment.

I now hit the Godfather to spend my favor points. I was given 10 to begin the game like others, but I have gotten one more for doing he back alley mission a few times.

I can use my 10 favor points for 20.000 cash or I can refill me energy points. A quick glance tells me I can take the energy refill and use the cash I have in hand to buy a crowbar and so the grand theft auto mission a few times. It requires six energy points and I cannot do it because you need two people in your mob and I am flying solo. Therefore, I am using my favor points for cash.

Open a bank account, because it is not very often in the lower levels, that you will have the 10 grand to open an account. Withdraw some money and so fight the next mission.

I do the residential burglary mission 3 times and I am up to 22,933 cash with no energy left. I only need eight points to hit level three. Therefore, I purchased the 12-gauge shotgun for 2,900 and then went hunting. I score two direct hits, get some more cash but when I tried a third time I was clobbered and got damaged big time. However, I am two points shy of that level 3. When I level up, I will be healed

I go ahead and purchased 10 more newsstands which gives me 14 of them total. I am bringing in $1,400 an hour on level 2, which is good but not great.

I commit a petty theft and rise to level three. I did not heal totally, my energy was not replaced but all the stamina is back. I can fight again once I am healed. Come on over and help me conquer the facebook mobsters application. You enjoyed the same one on myspace.
