What you wear at work, says a lot about you. What does you boss think when they see your faded khaki pants? Perhaps your stained canvas purse with a floral pattern is saying you are something about your cleanliness. Here are a few tips to help you inexpensively upgrade your business casual wardrobe.

Business casual environments are often where many of the worst fashion offenders reside. The environment and dress code leave a lot of grey areas. These areas leave the window open for offenders to easy their way into work. Yes, you may see them. If you have items that are made primarily of spandex, upgrade. Upgrade to jersey knits, and fabrics with a subtle sheen or shine. Decide that it is important for you to look professional each day in the office. Never be looked over for a promotion, or other opportunites because you are not dressed the part.
