The Growing Prevalence of Paramilitary Style Raids

In 2008, at the hands of unidentified, uniformed police, my husband and I were brutalized, forcibly detained and robbed at gunpoint resulting in my near death. About two months later, before I could recover, my husband was the subject of a paramilitary-style raid at his work place. This illegal raid was perpetrated by masked, unidentified (secret) police brandishing automatic weapons. No warrants were presented. A number of people, who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, were arrested on trumped up charges. The police, literally, stood around arguing with each other while they tried to coordinate their lies and determine what false charges to write in their paperwork. Some of the charges were sexually loaded and shockingly disgusting. Their basic premise for invading the property was that the owner did not have a particular kind of license that to this day, we have not been able to determine the existence of.

Unfortunately, this is not an uncommon situation. In fact, many, if not most, of the people I met in Houston, Texas have been subject to this kind of illegal, paramilitary-style raid. Victims are typically subjected to disgusting, sexually loaded accusations and falsely arrested, usually without warrants, by unidentified officers. In spite of the illegality of these arrests, the charges are almost always upheld in court.

In the last twenty-five years the paramilitarization of our police forces around the nations has increased. The use of such militarized police began with the need to quell hostage situations, usually involving increasingly violent drug dealers in Los Angeles. That was the birth of SWAT in America. People turned their heads as these paramilitary-style agencies began emerging, even in small towns, all across the country, initially, allegedly as a means to combat drugs. But, their use has grown and expanded to respond to all kinds of "offences."  Now, conditioned to violence and mayhem, these police feel that they have a license to do whatever they please.  They have raided schools and murdered the most innocent among us - children - across the country. And, these incidents are increasing. The silence in the mainstream media is deafening!

Below is a collection of documentaries and clips on the subject to of paramilitary style raids. You may be surprised to learn that the police in your town have become increasingly militarized, blurring the distinction between “peace officers,” who protect the innocent public and “soldiers” who break things and kill people.

And there are a lot of questions that need to be answered. Why do police need masks? What happened to your right to face your accuser in court? What changes are taking place in policing that are causing police to have so little regard for the lives of their fellow human beings? (Consider the atrocities against men, women and children being committed abroad - not reported by mainstream media - committed by our forces abroad. Realize that these returning soldiers are joining the ranks of the police force when they return home. Google: “raids kill children,” to see what our soldiers are doing to children abroad. It explains a lot. It's a wonder we're not all dead!)

Many people have been conditioned to believe that those suspected of using drugs have no rights. Please, realize that these violent raids have been perpetrated on all kinds of innocent people, not suspected of drug use or anything else. The Stower Family: This Ohio family was raided in their farm home, paramilitary-style, their children were terrorized and brutalized over a business license. This business is a co-op (wholesale business) and they were accused of requiring a retail license. It seems self-explanatory that a wholesale business is not a retail business and, therefore, would not require a retail business license. But, militarized police attacked this family, including their small children in their home.

Mayor's Home Wrongly SWATTED: Then there are the numerous so-called “botched” drug raids. Like this one on a mayor in a small town in Maryland. It isn't good to make enemies of the wrong people, apparently. In classic style, they cops shot his dogs. This is a classic thrill kill for blood-thirsty police. It is a common characteristic in all kinds of illegal raids that family pets are first casualties. As the mayor points out in this video, this happens all the time, but most people do not have the “platform” or the “voice” to tell people what has happened them.

Sandy Smith: This Texas homeowner was the victim of a warrantless raid on her home that started with harassing complaints from a neighbor to the Home Owner's Association. Her home and the homes of others in her neighborhood were raided and completely ransacked without benefit of a warrant by paramilitary police in black helicopter - yes, black helicopters. This woman was terrorized and held a gun held to her head by large, tattooed M-16-toting thugs. She is suffering health problems as a result of being terrorized by the police.

SWAT Team Honored for Raiding the Wrong House: Even when the police are wrong they are rewarded for being “professional.” This is a common theme in police cover-ups - the police are rewarded when they do wrong. This SWAT Team is now the subject of a lawsuit by the innocent Minneapolis family they terrorized. The video begins with a 911 call from the terrified wife.

These videos all portray ordinary people who were the victims of sadistic, militarized police. This is just a sampling. You will never hear from most victims and, one thing is for certain - you will only hear from those who have survived. The rest are forever silenced. With more and more police departments becoming militarized and police training programs conditioning the cops to bloody violence against men, women, and children - even babies, the police have become a Death Cult!

Part of the problem is that this has become a “norm” in some places. But, criminal police aren't like ordinary criminals and you can't defend yourself from them, no matter how brave you are - they act as a gang and with the power of the state behind them.

This is treason!

On behalf of all survivors of militarized secret police raids, these people and their supervisors must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and made to respect our U.S. Constitution.
