Blacks Beach- Best Nude Beach-Southern California-La jolla-Torrey Pines

Blacks beach is a two mile long beach officially known as Torrey Pines State Beach. In order to get to the beach located by La Jolla just north of San Diego you must first park at the Hang Glider Port located above the beach and then hike down some unimproved paths on the cliffs overlooking the beach. Access to the beach can be very difficult due to the steep cliffs. I would recommend firm stable shoes for the hike down.

Why is this beach so popular then? It permits NUDITY. On a hot summer day you can see upwards of thousands of nude people roaming the beach and playing games such as volleyball! Do not be afraid to strip naked and join the crowd. At the beach you will see nudists of all ages and sizes roaming around and tanning. Access to the beach is free.

When you get to the bottom of the beach take the time to get acquainted with the area. If you take a left you will be in what they refer to as the straight area. If you turn and walk to you FAR right you will be in the area that tends to attract gays and bisexuals.

Do not feel intimidated to hang out nude at the beach. It is a common courtesy here that you can only snap a picture of people in the buff if you have their permission. You will see families out there too. Make sure you bring a small cooler with snacks and drinks. There is no place to purchase drinks below. On busy days you will have individuals selling pop and beer but the prices are usually a bit extreme so financially it would be wise to bring your own.

You will occasionally see police patrolling the beach. (What a job, eh!). There are lifeguards on duty but not at all times. There is an emergency call box at the south end of the beach at the bottom of the road.

Swimmers, body-boarders, and surfers tend to mingle together but keep a watch out so know injuries result. Beach Fires are prohibited. Alcohol is NOT permitted on the north side of the beach. On the south side alcohol IS permitted but only between 12:00 pm. and 8:00 pm.

Nudity aside, I highly recommend Blacks Beach. If you count playing volleyball with naked women…I definitely recommend this to any pure blooded single male. Most people come the first time for the nudity but return for the quality of the beach.

A lot of people are nude but not all. If you do decide play naked I highly advise wearing sunscreen EVERYWHERE. You know what I’m saying?

If you follow these simple recommendations you should have an excellent day at the beach that will be ingrained in to your memory forever.
