Watch your mineral count, a proper diet must be followed to prevent you from cramps and other leg pain.

  • Pay attention to potassium:   Bananas are a good source of potassium.
  • Magnesium: Try have almonds, or cashews, whole grains, or dark green leafy vegetables.
  • Calcium:  well, what's good for the bone is good for the muscle. Dairy products are essential, milk and cheese,  can be had with moderation.
Easy steps to follow to rid your muscle of cramps:

Keep it down, lower that  part of your body,  when you feel a cramp coming on.

Turn up the heat, by adding heat to the pain  the situation can be eased. Use warm water to that part of your body.

When you have a cramp, don't  rub or grab it,  rather sit and flex.  The best for your  muscle is to stop the spasm immediately.  You can rub your muscle later when the pain has disappeared.
