Do you play Mafia Wars on facebook? You can pretend to be a mafia boss in this game. Within this short article on mafia wars here on facebook, I hope to share some tips, hints and even the fun that can be had in the game.

You will also read how Jen, Val, Heather, and John are helping me within the game. Each holds a vital role to my success. I hope I can be a vital member of their games as well.

I am only on level 16, which does not sound as if I should be giving advice but it is the game that appears on myspace and I am on level 131 over there. It is the same game, different social networking site.

Increase that gang on Mafia wars by using the invite a friend feature. Why do you need as many people in your gang as you can? Well I know that the upper levels you will need them. Therefore, my advice is too recruiting new members often as early as possible in the game!

Equipment

Do not worry about outfitting them with the best equipment until you are receiving a few million an hour to provide for the upkeep. However, you do not want to have some of your members fighting with baseball bats and some fighting with sawed off shotguns so build evenly. All should have the same type of equipment to fight with.

Get millions of dollars an hour

Simply buy the property rather then equipment in the early stages of the game. This method works with both mafia wars on facebook and myspace. I am bringing in over 11 million an hour and that is after almost 78,000 in upkeep costs.

Although not one of those cheats I recommend that you purchase as much property as you can before you go buying equipment. That is an important tip here people.

Top Mafia

This is an addicting game for some people, and I admit it is for me at times. Today I have completed many missions and filled my top mafia spots. At first I did not understand how to promote here, so I added a woman I went to school with Heather to my mastermind position. Then I added Jen to my mastermind, which demoted Heather, which sucked.

So then, I rather figured it out and added Heather in the 'safecracker position' and if she does well I will receive 8% more cash from fights! Val who is also a woman I went to school with is my 'bagman' and she will help me get 11% more cash on any jobs I complete.

Jen in the position of 'Mastermind' here on mafia wars will help me to get 6% more experience from jobs. I have known Jen for a few years now, we used to work together as professional butt wipers, but she became a nurse instead! I will tell you, Jen and I had awesome fun, pulling pranks.

John is my 'bodyguard' in the game, and I hope he does his job here as well as he writes on associated content, if so we will kick butt in the game.

I have two more spots in my top mafia and as soon as I can fill those spots I will, but for now, I will just play the game.

Why people are addicted with Zynga’s Mafia Wars? When Hobbes, Rousseau, Locke and other famous thinkers coined the term social contract, we never had the chance to rationalize our “state of nature” or our natural ways of dealing with other people. The “state of nature” describes how we use our animal instincts in order to survive and out power other people. As the social order was established to protect life, liberty, and property, a set of rules and penalties also arose that deter us from using our “state of nature” to outclass or kill our opponents. However, underground societies still use the "state of nature" as their main defensive and offensive mechanism to survive in the social order. One of the most popularized of these societies is the mafia. Members of this famous organization or family vary from the grassroots soldiers up to the big boss or the Godfather. Yet, the purpose of being a member is to be well connected in terms of politics and power. Many members come from the marginalized members of the society to which they want to escape. The idea is logical yet unlawful: kill in order to survive. Zynga has captured this idea in their famous game in Facebook and other social sites, Mafia Wars. Mafia Wars is a game of pure power and gratitude building attitude towards other member of the family. But why are we addicted? The answer is simple: it is but a game making it legal but the idea of killing, robbing, superiority and power is still there. Hence, we are practicing our “state of nature” unintentionally. http://kayacamilla.com
