SEO Content Writing Guidelines

Perhaps content writing is new to some but for companies who take advantage of Internet to market their products and services, it is the "body & soul" for their webpages. A well-optimized web content would be a determinant on the success of their online business.

In relation to this, one would often encounter a strategy used for effectively marketing a website and making it accessible to possible customers - that is Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

The goal of this method is to make a website rank # 1 in search engine result pages (or at least be part of the the first page).

Content writing is a new writing style formed to accommodate the website's need to be read online. The forms of writing which are posted online and benefit from SEO are SEO writing, copywriting, articles, blogs, press releases, ebooks, sales letters to name a few.

Always remember  that when writing web contents:

*The content should be concise, new and informative

*The content should be rich with keywords (the terms typed in sesarch boxes) and business-oriented

* Word count: min 400; max 600 words

* It should create massive traffic to the site. The content should be readable, relevant, accurate & captivating

* The content should be original! Do some detailed research & review other website contents but never "copy & paste" their work. Use your own words when writing your web contents.

* Use common words when writing your content. It would be easier for your target audiences to find your webpage if you use commonly used terms. These words would easily pop out in the minds of the majority when they perform online searches.
