North Korea Launched Nuclear Weapon

North Korea has once more defied world law by launching an underground nuclear bomb on Monday May 25th. It just seems like they are egging on the world with their recent missile launches and now detonating a nuclear bomb underground. The bomb was said to have had a blast of 10 to 20 kilotons. This bomb was much larger than the one they blew up in 2006.

With last months missile launch and now this nuclear test it seems that North Korea wants the world to see they are still very powerful and strong.

The U.S. Geological Society reported activity in North Korea at 9:54 AM and said the size would be about that of a 4.7 earthquake.

North Korea also tested three short range missiles around the same time. These missiles can go around 80 miles and go from ground to air. It was said these missile launches were supposed to keep Japan and the US surveillance planes away from their test site while the test was being performed.

North Korea possess enough plutonium to make at least six nuclear bombs but till date their scientists have not figured out how to attach these to a long range missile.

Obama tried to make it clear that any type of weapons that would cause massive destruction was not allowed to be made and or blown up and tested, but apparently North Korea did not listen and threw the eyes of the world seems to be laughing at us all.

Security meetings were to be held in New York yesterday to discuss the actions to be taken to stop North Korea from taking any further actions. There has been no reports from that meeting as of now.

President Obama may be the only person who can stop anymore testing from happening by changing the sanctions that are in place and helping North Korea with aid, concessions and normal ties to the Country. Will this happen none of us are sure, but what is known is that South Korea is on high alert but North Korean soldiers do not seem to be over running the border.

What will come of all this?
