North Korea Nuclear Bomb Was announced 6 days before the Nuclear test

Since early 1990s, Korea is believed likely to maintain an intelligence operation with regards to nuclear weapons development program when it created a plutonium-producing Magnox nuclear reactor.  International community used diplomatic means to bound a nuclear work into a scientific study.

The first detonation of a nuclear device in North Korea was conducted last October 9, 2006. Six days prior to the conduction, they announced the nuclear bomb which was reported as the first nation to give warning with regards to its nuclear test.  Radio active outputs were detected prior to the conduction and an explosive force of less than a kiloton was estimated.

Due to the explosive's smaller output than expected, the unsuccessful result of the first nuclear bomb lead the NK to conduct another experiment.

North Korea announced last Monday, May 25, that a successful Nuclear attempt was conducted. This time, they reported that it was successful by means of withstanding warnings and asking those stubborn communist state to discontinue their nuclear weapon programs.

KCNA, North Korea's official news agency announced that  the May 25 successful nuclear test was part of their measures in increasing their self-defense as requested by their technicians and scientist.  According to the agency, a higher level of technology and control in terms of explosive power was used.

“The results of the test helped satisfactorily settle the scientific and technological problems arising in further increasing the power of nuclear weapons and steadily developing nuclear technology.” KCNA said.

Former south Korean President Roh Moo-hyun committed suicide which stunned the world by jumping off the cliff.  South Korea was still mourning with the suicide of former President Roh Moo-hyun when they received the report that North Korea had fired a short-range missile.

Obama's administration back in Washington are still timid with their response about the nuclear test last Monday.  They don't wanna elaborate and comment without further analysis and proof.  The spokes person said that the administration is aware of the reports about the nuclear test but cannot react more further until proven. They are still collecting data and consulting their allies with regards to the facts.

Spokesman Lee Dong-kwan, spokesman of the office of President Lee Myung-bak of South Korea, stated that an artificially-triggered tremors coming from Kilju, located in northeast of Korea, came out Monday Morning.  He quoted that government officials of South Korea and United states are closely monitoring the situation and are analyzing the gathered data.
