I've been involved in endurance events for over thirty years and I have competed in over 35 marathons 14 Ironman triathlons, and countless other races of varying distances. I have also created a website and blog called Ironstruck and have also published two books on the subject of triathlon. They are also called Ironstruck. The mandate of ironstruck is to motivate, inspire, and educate beginner triathletes, and the novice Ironman on becoming more than they ever thought possible on many levels. I'm happy to say that Ironstruck has indeed inspired many people to take on the Ironman Triathlon challenge and succeed and in the process, change their lives for the better.
